Indiana Beta Sigma Phi

Beta Sigma Phi for the best friends of your life!

Ask our members why they joined Beta Sigma Phi and most will answer, friendship. This sisterhood develops and deepens through shared social and cultural programs, and  philanthropic projects throughout our communities. However, the endless possibility of new friendships and a lot of fun, is still the number one reason for becoming a Beta Sigma Phi.

Sisters,
If you missed State Fun Day/State Day 2022, you missed a Wonderful Event! There were 22 chapters represented with 70 Sisters in attendance.

We had so much fun thanks to our Fort Wayne Sisters of Xi Gamma Tau. I would like to say a HUGE Thank You to Jenna, Margaret, Melissa, and Kandy and Queen Ruthie for 2 Glorious Days. Saturday was the Queen's Garden Party with many enjoyable games inside and out. I think the most watched was  the Tumbling Tower (Jenga). Many had fun outside with the Queen's Croquet, Heart Toss (corn hole with 3 holes), Queen's Pig Toss, and Giant Yahtzee. Inside were several card games including Uno, Farkle, Five Crowns, Skippo and Exploding Kittens. The snacks and drinks were a nice touch. And, Oh, the decorations. Great Work, Melissa and her helpers.

Sunday brought us to the "Garden of Live Flowers" (ways & means) followed by a very nice luncheon. We were, as always, treated to information from Laura Berry of the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The business meeting had information about upcoming State Events. We were advised that there was only one organization that put in a bid for our charity for the next four years and that will be ICADV. Congrats!!

We had a Standing voice vote for the Membership Committee monies to be a separate line item in the financial report and not part of the budget. It passed unanimously.

After the meeting, Saturday's winners were awarded their prizes. Then the Ways & Means booth winners were revealed.

All in All, it was a truly Enjoyable Weekend. Thanks again to Xi Gamma Tau for the event.
