Torchbearer Theta Indianapolis is pleased to present our sister, Peggy Wood, as a candidate for the office of State Recording Secretary. Peggy has been a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 50 years, having just received the Golden Circle Ritual.
Peggy is a loyal and enthusiastic member of Beta Sigma Phi. She has held every office in chapter and Indianapolis City Council several times. She is currently serving as Treasurer of Indianapolis City Council. In this capacity she completely overhauled our banking relationship and provides monthly reports to all Board Members. She also provides detailed spreadsheets for every Council event. She has previously served on the State Board. In addition, she has served on several State Committees and is currently serving as Co-Chairman of the State Project Committee and on the FHA Committee. Peggy has co-chaired several Conventions, State Council Days and State Day. She has also handled Registration, Name Tags, Secretary, Treasurer and Program Books for several state events. Peggy is very organized and detail oriented. She is the first one called upon in Indianapolis to do Program Books. She had created the chapter yearbook and City Council Directory for several years. She maintains files of every Program Book, Council Directory, and Treasurer’s report on her computer for immediate access. Peggy is the first one to step up and volunteer when a job needs doing. She shares her love and enthusiasm for Beta Sigma Phi with all her sisters. We believe she has the talent, skill, and tools to do a great job of State Recording Secretary. |
