Xi Eta Rho, Fort Wayne would like to nominate Janet Howard for the office of State Historian.
Janet has previously served two terms on the State Board - as State Corresponding Secretary and is currently State parliamentarian. She has also served on many state committees including State Project committee, Scrapbook Committee, Ways and Means Committee (chair), FHA Committee - helping to create a timeline for those holding events, and the Bowling Committee. She has attended most of the state events throughout the years. She enjoys attending state events and has only missed a handful of them over the years.
Janet has been active in sorority since early 1989. She has held every office in our chapter, been our chapter's Woman of the Year and co-chair for various state events including State Conventions, Bowling, State Day and State Fun Day our chapter has hosted. She has created scrapbooks for our chapter and yearbooks for her mom's chapter over the years. When Fort Wayne had a city council, she served on the city council board, attended city council meetings, and was city council Woman of the Year. She has also helped plan several Founder's Day events over the years.
She currently works for the Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana as a program manager. She has had that position for more than 20 years.
Janet Howard is more than qualified for this position and will work hard for our membership.
