Indiana Alpha Rho Master Anderson is honored to nominate Angie Harl for the office of Indiana State Council Historian.
Angie has been a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 31years progressing from Ritual of Jewels to Master degree. Angie belongs to a chapter that has members from various degrees. This allows her to learn from the ideas of the experienced members as well as the fresh, new ideas brought from newer members to the chapter. Angie has been honored with The Order of the Rose. Angie has held the offices of President, Vice President, Recording and Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer at the chapter level. Angie is currently serving as chapter President. Angie has held the offices of Recording and Corresponding Secretary of our city council, and Corresponding Secretary on the State Board. She has served on all committees and has chaired most committees within her chapter. She also has been honored as the 1995, 2008, and 2014 Indiana State Woman of the Year, and runner up in 2021. Angie is always eager to pitch in to help with the preparation of state events which our city chapters have hosted. She has severed as Co -Chairwoman of 2008 State Council Day ” Ladies in Red”, 2012 State Fun Day “Beta “drawkcaB” Bash” and, Co-Chairwoman for State Convention 2015 “Here Comes the Beta”. Angie has been Co-Chairwoman when we have hosted our Area Founder’s Day and Beginning Day banquets. Angie has served on several state committees including two years on the scrapbook committee and was Chairwoman for the scrapbook competition at convention in 1995. She has served as state photographer for several past presidents. Angie has also served on the FHA committee, Membership and is currently serving as Chairwoman of the State Ways and Means committee for the second time. Angie was part of our first website committee, and she served as Chairwoman of the Roster committee as a part of the website. She is also a member of the State Budget advisor committee. Angie has achieved perfect chapter attendance for the last 18 years and has attended all but a couple State functions in this time as well. Angie has assisted her chapters with their scrapbooks contributing very bright and clever ideas. She has also designed several flyers and posters for different functions of our chapter. The members of Alpha Rho Master feel that Angie would be a great asset to the Indiana State Council board as Historian She is a very dedicated and talented sorority sister; and has much to offer our organization on all levels. |
